Lyric soprano Kathleen Echols has been breaking ground with international debut performances in the roles of Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Micaëla (Carmen), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), and the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica. Kathleen sings as soloist with the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra and Opera West. She is highly capable of delivering thrilling solo performances in oratorio, including Mozart’s Exultate, Jubilate, Poulenc’s Gloria, and Rossini’s Stabat Mater under the baton of Metropolitan Opera conductor, Gregory Buchalter. Metropolitan soprano Kirsten Chambers praised Kathleen for her "high-level artistry" and described her voice as "ethereal - magical - powerful."
