Mara Koutsaimani was born and raised in Athens, studied the Law in the UoA and also modern and classical singing, in the Hellenic Conservatory of Athens (class of Marilena Kanellidou). She got her Diploma as a coloratura soprano, in classical singing with honors degree (10’) and second prize. In 2016, she attended the masterclass of the soprano Alexia Voulgaridou in Kavala and she took part in the Gala that followed, performing “Tu che di gel ” from G. Puccini’s “Turandot” and the duet “liepen sweigen” from F. Lehar’s “Die lustige Witwe”. She attended yoga your voice lessons with famous coloratura soprano Gina Poulou. Also, she participated in the “New York Project International” of Teatro Grattaciello and in the online concert that followed the program, performing “Der Hölle Rache” of Mozart’s “Magic Flute” with excellent reviews. She currently lives in the northern Greece where she teaches classical and modern singing.
