NYC native Victoria McGrath, soprano, is at home in opera, concert work, and new works. Recent engagements include Don Giovanni (Zerlina), La bohème (Musetta), Proving Up (Littler Daughter) and excerpts from Les contes d’Hoffmann and Die Zauberflöte. A frequent recitalist, Ms. McGrath has performed French language concerts with L’Opéra Comique de Washington and the French Choir of Washington DC, in addition to curated song and aria recitals with Baltimore Musicales, Easton Art Academy, and the Columbus Citizens Foundation. An advocate for new music, McGrath has performed and covered roles in operas by John Musto, Justine F. Chen, Missy Mazzoli, and Paul Davies. Victoria is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, where she earned an MM in Opera Performance.
