Claire Tendl is a rising operatic soprano from Orlando, Florida, known for her passion for bel canto and verismo repertoire. She made her professional operatic debut in The Merry Widow as Hannah with Orlando Light Opera. Claire has since captivated audiences across the
U.S. and internationally, debuting in Vienna as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and performing as Musetta in La bohème near Florence, as well as Suor Angelica with Opera Magnifico. A 2020 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Music, she has won numerous accolades, including first place in the UF Concerto Competition. She is ecstatic to join Teatro Grattacielo this season to portray Suzel in L’Amico Fritz.
