Matan Gendelman, an Israeli bass baritone singer, 28, finished his undergraduate in the Buchmann Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University in the class of Ms. Anat Efrati and Mr. Oded Reich.
Winner of the Sharett Foundation Scholarship for the years 2014-2021 and the Excellence Scholarship in the years 2018/2019. In addition, he won scholarships for excellence from Tel Aviv University and the Buchmann Mehta School of Music in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He also received a scholarship from the Ronen Foundation in 2019 and 2023. It should also be noted that he is also supported by the Israeli Opera Arts Association from 2015 (Summer Opera Tel Aviv). In 2023, Matan took a part as an Emerging Artist in the IYDV of Dolora Zajick.
Matan portrayed many roles as: Don Alfonso (Cosi Fan Tutte), Colline and Benoit/Alcindoro (La Boheme), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte) and many others.
