Roberto Di Candido

Tenor, voice teacher

Roberto Di Candido is building a reputation for his elegant musicianship,  stage presence, and his dark and secure voice of warm Italianate lustre.

Di Candido has studied at Cambridge College and posteriorly trained with internationally acclaimed Mezzo Soprano Helena Obraztsova ,Soprano Marcella  Reale at Japan-Italia Music Institute (Japan) and the Baritone Giorgio Zancanaro .

Roberto has made his professional debut in Japan at the Fujiwara Opera . He has gone on to perform at theatres and opera houses around Asia and Europe , making his Italian debut at the Teatro Greco of Taormina as Radames in Aida ,conquering the hearts of the public and critics . 

He has showcased his vocal ability and acting versatility in a variety of roles such as Manrico in Il Trovatore, Don José in Carmen, Cavaradossi in Tosca,  Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana ,Enzo in La Gioconda, Riccardo in Un Ballo in Maschera and Radames in Aida.

Di Candido most recently performed in a large scale concerts in Mongolia with the Mongolian State Philharmonic Orchestra , IBLA Foundation (New York) and Japan , at the Masonic Music Festival in Tokyo at a series of Mozart Birthday Concerts under the direction of the composer and conductor Robert Ryker.
