Hasmik Asatryan, originally from Armenia, received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Komitas State Conservatory, and was a member of the Armenian National State Academic and Ovsanna Choirs. She has performed solo recitals in Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, France and Russia. Her repertoire includes vocal cycles, spiritual, folk, baroque, opera arias and songs.

In New York, Hasmik is a member of the St. Vartan Cathedral Choir, and also performs with the Gomidas choir and other choirs. Recently, she completed a vocal course at The Juilliard School with Jane Olian.
