Stella Christine is a soprano from St. John’s Newfoundland. Stella holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance (Honours) from The Glenn Gould School of Music of The Royal Conservatory in Toronto, where she studied with Adrianne Pieczonka. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at Mannes School of Music (The New School) in New York City. Notable performances include Romilda in Handel’s Xerxes  (Summer Opera Lyric Theatre), Soeur Felicite in Les Dialogues des Carmelites (The Glenn Gould School of Music), Anna in Pirates of Penzance (Best Kind Productions) and Fairy in A Midsummer Nights Dream (Opera on the Avalon). Along with performing in operas, she has participated in several Young Artist Programs such as Nuova Vocal Arts Opera Intensive (Edmonton), Bel Canto Intensive (New York City), and several solo recitals at The Royal Conservatory of Music. She is the recipient of The Canadian Federation of University Women’s Award (Kiwanis Music Festival), and a Gold Medalist in Voice throughout Atlantic Canada (The Royal Conservatory.) When she is not on the operatic stage, Stella teaches piano and voice lessons to young students in New York City.
