Petr Yanchuk was born in 1997 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, In 2003 he started studying piano and in 2005 he entered the special school of music and arts in Kharkov, Ukraine in the class of M. Svetlana Zakharova. During his years of study, he was awarded in international competitions held in Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus etc.

Subsequently, he started at the University of Arts in Kharkov, Ukraine in the class of Prof. Tatiana Verkina. Until graduating in piano in 2015 with top marks, honours and honourable mention. He has participated in numerous masterclasses and festivals including “Hamburg music festival” in Hamburg, Germany, “Kharkov Assembly” in Kharkov, Ukraine, “Moscow Meets Friends” in Moscow, Russia etc. Subsequently, he perfected himself with the masters Dmitry Alexeev (England), Pavel Ghililov (Germany), Wolfgang Mans (Germany) etc.

In 2019 he moved to Lucca, Italy, where he studied under the guidance of M. Carlo Palese at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Luigi Boccherini. During his years of study, he began to work as a master collaborator and preparator in various theatres, including Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Erl Festspiele, Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini, Teatro del Giglio etc. Since October 2022 he has been attending the Young Artist Program always in Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
