Bass Jongwon Choi, a native of South Korea, is currently studying at Stony Brook University for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree. He earned the Professional Studies Diploma from the Mannes School of Music (NYC) and his Master’s from Seoul National University.

Some of his US roles include Sparafucile in Rigoletto, Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Prince Gremin in Eugene Onegin, Trulove in The Rake’s Progress, and Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro. International appearances include performances with the Seoul Metropolitan Opera’s Verdi series, in the Korean premiere of Curlew River, and in The Little Prince with the Korea National Opera.
