Nataliia Temnyk is a PhD graduate from the National Academy of Music in Odesa, Ukraine. She is a laureate of the Wagner Singing Competition (London), Sabin V. Dragoi Competition in Romania, the International Christmas Singing Competition (Belarus), and Sun Country International Competition (Odesa Ukraine).

Critics have called her voice “ravishing” (Journal of the Wagner Society of London), “sublime” (ARTMUSELONDON), and “gloriously strong” (Opera Canada).

In 2018 Nataliia moved to England where she performed with Opera Viva and mentored with Dame Anne Evans of British National Opera. A move to Canada came in 2022 when Nataliia was invited to join the faculty of the Victoria Conservatory of Music in British Columbia. Since then, she has performed regularly and was honoured to participate in the prestigious Highland Opera Studio program in summer 2024.

Nataliia was recently awarded the Annamaria Bamji Award for Emerging Opera Singers for her contribution to Pacific Opera in Victoria.
