Nicole Silva, Brazilian-American coloratura soprano is a graduate of the University of North Texas with Bachelor of Music degrees in vocal performance and music education, where she studied with Dr. Carol Wilson. She later furthered her artistic and pedagogical training at Sankt Goar International Music Festival and Academy under the tutelage of Emilio Pons and Falko Hönisch. She has performed roles in opera scenes for the UNT Opera: Despina, Zerlina, and Susanna. Other additional and acclaimed roles include Queen of the Night for Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Morgana and Servilia for Comet Opera in Dallas, Zerbinetta for Trentino Music Festival, Violetta and Marcellina for Music Ministry Conservatory.
