Sofia Farrell, soprano, possesses a diverse repertoire encompassing opera, classical, sacred, and musical theatre. Her recent/upcoming roles include: Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro). A graduate of Manhattan School of Music, Sofia studies with Joan Patenaude-Yarnell. An active cantor in the Philadelphia Archdiocese, Sofia was selected as the solo psalmist for the 2016 Festival of the Epiphany at St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City. Recognized in vocal competitions, Sofia was a finalist in Opera Ebony’s 2023 Benjamin Matthews Competition, 3rd place winner in Oscar Hammerstein 2023 International Competition, and a finalist/People’s Choice Winner in the 2022 PHL LIVE Music Competition. Sofia is looking forward to her debut with Camerata Bardi International Academy as Adina in Donizetti’s “L’elisir d’amore."
