Tara Malabug Kitchelt is an emerging Filipino-American soprano based in the DMV area. She recently portrayed Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with Tokyo Opera Studio. Her other notable performances include Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Flora in Britten’s Turn of the Screw, Noémie in Massenet's Cendrillon, and Marianne in Romberg’s The New Moon. Tara earned her Master of Music degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
