Camerata Bardi Studio nurtures developing artists through intensive training that strengthens craft, builds confidence, and prepares singers for the demands of the professional stage.
Camerata Bardi Studio is an intensive training program created for developing singers who need focused time, individual guidance, and practical performance experience to strengthen the foundations of their work.
Through voice lessons, individual coachings, masterclasses, audition feedback, dramatic exploration, and professional development, participants work closely with experienced faculty to identify the areas that require attention and develop the tools needed to move forward.
The program culminates in a theatrical performance with piano, giving every participant the opportunity to apply their work in front of an audience while receiving the preparation and support necessary for meaningful artistic growth.
Who is the Studio for?
Camerata Bardi Studio is designed for singers with artistic potential who would benefit from more concentrated development before entering the demands of a complete professional production.Participants may need additional work in one or more areas, including:
• Vocal technique and consistency
• Musicianship and role preparation
• Language and diction
• Acting and dramatic interpretation
• Audition preparation and presentation
• Artistic identity and confidence
• Professional readiness
Every singer arrives with different strengths and different needs. The Studio provides an environment in which those needs can be addressed directly, thoughtfully, and individually.
There is no age limit for Camerata Bardi Studio.
How is the Studio different from the International Academy?
Camerata Bardi Studio and the Camerata Bardi International Academy share the same artistic philosophy: singers grow through the integration of vocal, musical, dramatic, and professional training.The difference lies in the format of the programs and in the level of preparation required from each participant.
The Camerata Bardi International Academy is intended for singers who are ready to enter the fast-paced environment of a complete professional-style opera production. Participants prepare and perform a fully staged opera under professional production conditions.
The Camerata Bardi Studio is intended for singers who would benefit from additional time and focused guidance to strengthen the craft required for that environment. Instead of immediately placing participants into the demands of a fully staged opera with orchestra, the Studio allows greater attention to individual vocal, musical, and dramatic development.
Its culminating performance is presented with piano, allowing the focus to remain on the singer’s growth, preparation, and ability to communicate through performance.
Studio is not a lesser version of the International Academy. It is a distinct and rigorous program created for a different moment in an artist’s development.
The 2027 Studio

Format: Intensive in-person training culminating in a theatrical performance with piano
During this concentrated week, participants will receive individualized instruction while working together as an artistic community. The program is designed to strengthen each singer’s foundation and help participants better understand what will be required of them as they prepare for more advanced training and professional performance opportunities.
2027's Pedagogical & Curricular Areas of Focus
In the coming season, the Studio will focus two areas of the Italian operatic tradition with overlapping and contrasting stylistic and musical demands: the music of Mozart, in particular Don Giovanni and its recitativi, and the music of Puccini, focusing on verismo traditions and style. Our faculty specialists bring extensive expertise to their work with our Studio participants, meeting each singer at their level and elevating their work through intensive one-on-one and group sessions, addressing topics including diction, performance practice, stylistic conventions and demands, storytelling through musical expression, and more.

Application Form for Studio Singers
THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE.
REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR APPLICATION VIDEO(S):
- Video(s) must not be older than 1 year
- Link must be visible to us (unlisted is fine, but no “private” links)
- We do not accept Dropbox submissions
PROCESS:
1. Fill in the form, including all required information and links to 1-2 recent videos of your singing(hosted on YouTube/Vimeo/similar, viewable without special permission/no log-in required, from within the last year)
2. Applications will be reviewed and responded to as they come in, on a rolling basis
3. Candidates under consideration will be invited to an audition and/or interview with Artistic Director Stefanos Koroneos, in-person in NYC or via Zoom, in January and early February
4. Casting announcements will begin to go out on February 15th, 2027

Tuition
Our tuition includes:• All one-on-one workshops, coaching and lessons
• All group sessions, rehearsals, and performance preparation
• All Industry Development Seminars, which will focus on valuable career insights such as self-marketing, social media practices, branding, networking, self-filming, and overall professional presentation
You may opt for tuition that includes housing provided by Camerata Bardi (double-occupancy room), or you may elect to arrange your own housing and pay a smaller tuition fee. TUITION DOES NOT INCLUDE AIRFARE/TRAVEL.

• Registration Fee | There is no registration fee.
• Payment schedule | Tuition payments are divided in two equal parts. The first payment is due on the first day of your admission, and the second payment is due on the first day of the program.
• Refund policies and disclaimers | Camerata Bardi International Academy commits to contracts to secure faculty, staff, creative crew and (if needed) housing for our participants. Therefore, once paid, tuition and fees are non-refundable. There are no exceptions to this policy.
• Contracts | This is a small boutique program. All our participants will be offered performances and contracts.
• Force Majeure | Camerata Bardi International Academy shall have no liability whatsoever to the Artist if the Performance cannot go forward because of circumstances beyond the Producer’s reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, pandemic, terrorist acts, shortage of supply, breakdowns or malfunctions, blackouts, labor difficulties, war or civil unrest. However, Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy will reschedule such performances.
